We drove an hour up a long, tiny road to get to the top of this mountain (they call it a hill).
From the viewpoint it was still quite pollution-y and muggy.
Those mountains peeking up out of the haze... crazy high. Highest in the world! Nagarkot is the name of this location and last year I had been in that same mountain range we were looking at .
Getta and Lhakpa
Lhakpa insisted on taking my picture here. You can barely see the Mountains So we went back inside for lunch and waited for the haze to pass.
Someone has a sense of humor and hauled a wooden row boat all the way up. See picture below, the boat is sitting on the ledge.
Thick haze still covering the mountains. You can just barley see the tips.
Nepalese style lunch!
View from our lunch spot.
Finally haze is moving. Its unreal to see a mountain range like this. They are breathtaking and my pictures dont even capture them. I wish I could have seen them in all their glory with no haze but what I saw was pretty great.
