Did you know that Manny Pacquiao is running for Philippine President? They love him over there.
Philippines was a good time. I especially loved seeing some of what Benson saw on his mission. His funny accents make sense now. The people are funny. The food is good. The mango surpassed expectations. It is very humid. I drank soda out of a plastic bag. (that's a thing over there.) I went to a PBA basketball game. I rode in a Jeepney. I took a tour od the old spanish gated city on a horse and buggy. I was surprised that everyone speaks English. Oh and I worked a lot and met a lot of really great people I want to do projects with. I also bought these really cool fake birds that fly from these boys on the street. I carefully brought them home for my nephews. I wish I had a picture of the boys I bought them from. I was told later that I was haggling over 10-20 cents and I felt really bad.
Overall: Fun work trip and I would go back. (with addition of seeing the little beachy islands)

I agree with Kristine. I want to travel with you, so I can eat awesome food and haggle over prices. Sorry, I'm commenting so late after you posted.
