The San Francisco treat!

Finally! I finally got to visit my dear friend Shayna and her husband Eric, living in San Francisco. Check out her hair! Adorable! They have the loveliest studio apartment filled with artwork and custom made furniture by Eric. See that dresser behind them?!

Deciding where to eat. Just too many good options in this city.

In the morning, Shayna and Eric whipped up a breakfast  smoothie and oatmeal. Yum.

Check that natural light.

We went for a hike along the coast. It was Rad-Tad!

Shayna and Ashley sandwich. My favorite kind.

Power Couple.

Then I made everyone jump.

Here is Shayna: She is smart, creative genius, obnoxiously helpful, really hard worker, makes friends with everyone and super goofy (my favorite kind of funny).

This is Eric: He has rad hair, also very smart, super athletic, creative, excels at cooking, makes friends easily, understated sense of humor, and has a great chuckle.

Darling Ashley: She is accepting of everyone, easy to talk to, calm-cool-and-collected, but she is the silliest and fun to laugh with, and she is always up for anything.

I mean how can you not want to bear hug these two all the time?

Clarion Ally in the Mission area..

We stopped by Tartine!! I was so excited I bought a loaf of Kamut bread just cuz. It definitely stood up to my expectations.  We at it for dinner, then had amazing french toast the next morning.

Sunday night dinner Shayna and Eric showed off their chef skillz... again. Too bad I didn't get a shot of the delicious fish they made!

Monday morning I ran to the SF bridge and back. It's the best because so many people run down there and it's like 'runner-people' watching while you're running! Makes the time fly.
I also didn't expect to be that impressed with the bridge... so touristy. But it is awesome! I love everything about it!

oh hey--- had to hit up Tartine on my way out. Shayna and I shared a quiche, (i forget the name of the other thing-- toast with cheese and tomato?), and banana bread. Better safe with 3 items then be sad with 2... right?

Then I had to fly home back to life. Back to reality.
